Founded in 2026, the West Texas Officiating Hall of Fame is dedicated to honoring outstanding officials in various sports. Our goal is to celebrate excellence and promote integrity in officiating at all levels of competition.

West Texas Hall of Fame Criteria for Consideration
Criteria for Inclusion in the Hall of Fame
In order to be in the West Texas Hall of Fame, a nominee must have officiated:
- At least ten years in the sport they are nominated
- At least eight years at the varsity level in the sport they are nominated
- A minimum of 20 postseason assignments in the sport they are nominated, or
- A minimum of three State Semifinals in the sport they are nominated
Other Criteria Considered:
- A demonstrated history of board service
- A demonstrated history of training and mentorship
- Must be in good standing in the sport in which they are nominated
- Other demonstrated circumstances that would make the nominee worthy of inclusion
The West Texas Officiating Hall of Fame is the pinnacle of achievement in officiating for the men and women that dedicate their lives to the being the "best team on the field." Inclusion in the Hall is an honor not to be taken lightly and those inducted should be shown the utmost respect for garnering what will be the highest award bestowed by their peers.
